Abstract

University curricula are constantly reviewed and adjusted according to university regulations. These adjustments ensure that teaching objectives and learning outcomes are aligned with reality. Using statistical methods, comparisons, and interviews, this study documented and developed the curriculum for the advanced athletics course for students at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports, Vietnam. The curriculum meets the required number of hours, comprising 150 hours, and covers both theoretical and practical aspects. Furthermore, the newly developed content is comprehensive and aligned with the curricula of advanced universities, while also ensuring that graduates possess sufficient knowledge to teach in secondary schools.
