L’ENSEIGNEMENT DES PHÉNOMÈNES OPTIQUES DANS UN CADRE DE DÉMARCHE D’INVESTIGATION / TEACHING OPTICAL PHENOMENA IN AN INQUIRY BASED TEACHING APPROACH

Abstract


Cet article pose la question des interventions didactiques à la classe des sciences dans un cadre du type « démarche d’investigation ». Après une référence aux éléments du cadre théorique fondamentale, une série d'exemples de recherche tirés des phénomènes de base de l'optique géométrique ont été présentés (la lumière comme entité, la propagation rectiligne de la lumière et la formation des ombres). Les résultats de ces études ont montré qu'une utilisation systématique de la méthode peut avoir des effets positifs sur les problèmes d'apprentissage des sciences expérimentales.

This article raises the question of educational interventions in the science class in an "inquiry-based teaching" framework. After a reference to the elements of the fundamental theoretical framework, a series of research examples from the basic phenomena of geometric optics were presented (light as an entity, straight propagation of light and the formation of shadows). The results of these studies have shown that a systematic use of the method can have positive effects on the learning issues of experimental sciences.
