EVALUATION DE LA SANTÉ MENTALE DES DÉPLACÉS INTERNES DE LA PROVINCE DU SUD KIVU EN RÉPUBLIQUE DÉMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO
Abstract
Les déplacés internes sont des personnes vulnérables sur le plan psychologique. Bien qu’ils bénéficient de diverses prises en charge dans des sites de déplacés, ils ont de probleme au niveau de leur santé mentale. Cet article se penche sur cette problématique, en ciblant 194 déplacés internes auxquels nous les avons soumis l’echelle de satisfaction de vivre, évaluant le bien être psychologique (une composante de la santé mentale). Le résultat révèle que les déplaces internes sont dans un état de mal être psychologique. Ainsi, leur santé mentale est préoccupante.
Internally displaced people are psychologically vulnerable people. Although they benefit from various types of support in displaced sites, what is the state of their mental health? This article attempts to answer this question, by targeting 194 internally displaced persons to whom we submit the life satisfaction scale, assessing well-being (a component of mental health). The result reveals that the internally displaced are in a state of psychological unease. Thus, their mental health is worrying.
