The aim of this study was to find the relationship between personality dimensions and legal power on Youth and Sport of West Azerbaijan Province. This is a descriptive-relationship research. Population in this research is all experts of Youth and Sports of West Azerbaijan province (N=96n). The sample size was selected because of the limited number of population by the total number of individuals. Among them 85 people were selected randomly. The tool measuring questionnaire personality dimensions Costa and McCrae (1985) and Hinkin power sources and Shraikhim (1989). Validity was confirmed by professors and experts in the field of sport management. Reliability using Cronbach alpha coefficient personality dimensions Costa and McCrae (1985) a=0.90 and questionnaire Hinkin power supplies and Schrieshim (1989) α=0.93. To analyze the data, 16.5 SPSS software package was used to perform descriptive and inferential statistics. In inferential statistics, check for normal distribution of data Kolomogrov-Smirnov test and Spearman correlation test was used. The results showed that there is no significant relationship in the relationship between personality dimensions and legal power in Youth and Sports West Azerbaijan province (0.830).

Abstract: Purpose of this study is to determine the impact of sport on personality. The sample of the study is made up of 50 university students who do not exercise regularly and participate in the study voluntarily. The students participating in the study are given fitness training 4 days a week for 3 months. To determine the personality of the students participating in the study to assess personality characteristics Adjective Based Personality Test (SDKT) developed by Bacanlı et al (2009) was used. SPSS 20 software package was used to analyze the data obtained. Supplementary statistics and co-sample t-test were used to analyze the data. Following 3 month sports training, a reduction in the trait of neuroticism, and an increase in extraversion, complaisance, and responsibility dimensions have been determined. This study attempts to investigate the possible influence of participation in Sports on personality changes. It was generally hypothesized that there would be no significant difference between the selected athletes personality traits and the sport they participate, to achieve the purpose, 200 male and female Katsina State athletes from different athletic groups were selected randomly to serve us subjects. An instrument called Edward's personal preference schedule (1939) Epps was modified and adopted, to obtain date required for the study. The instrument was then administered on the subjects whose responses were statistically analysed to test the hypothesis of the study. The result indicated that female showed significant differences between athletes in different Sports in some of their personality traits and that there are insignificant differences between male and female athletes in their personality trains. The following conclusion were drawn based on the result of this study. Factors which determine the selection of a particular sport were strongly due to the possession of certain trait specific to the sport engaged.

The study aimed to investigate the relationship between personality traits and sources of power of the country's basketball coaches. Statistical sample included 114 elite basketball coaches who were coaching at the national basketball leagues. Data were collected using a NEO Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI) (1986) and power source questionnaire (Sussman & Deep, 1989). Pearson correlation test results showed that the correlation of authority power with extroversion-introversion among female coaches is significant. Also, significant relationship between the correlation of expertise power and agreeableness was reported among male coaches. The priority of coaches in the use of power sources was dedicated to the expert power and the reward power was the last priority.

The present study aims to investigate the personality traits predict in sports performance among university athletes. The sample was comprised of 232 (male=148 and Female = 84), aged between 18 to 30 years (M/SD; 25.11/1.60) of university athletes. The data were gathered from three universities of Punjab, Pakistan through purposive sampling technique. The present research was quantitative in nature and cross-sectional research design was applied. In the 21st century, sport and physical activity have earned a great importance in society. With this enhanced awareness, physical, technical and psychological improvements have become priority in sport teams with the intent of making the most of the athlete " s potentiality. In this regard, the known sport sciences such as physiology, biochemistry, medicine, biomechanics, anthropometry, sociology and psychology have been improved, researched and applied in competitive sport. The purpose of the present study was to find out the personality profile of state level women kho-kho players. The performance in competition is direct link with the personality of an individual. Personality characteristics of an individual play an important role in achieving high performance in Kho-Kho. The present study was to find out the personality traits, need patterns and locus of control of west Bengal state level women kho-kho players. Total twenty (N=20) subjects were randomly chosen for this study. The age of the players ranged from 18 to 25 years. They were selected from two separate districts North 24 Pagans and Nadia of West Bengal. In the present study sixteen personality factors were measured using Cattle sixteen Personality Factors Questionnaire. The Opinion expressed by the subjects was converted to numerical scores and STEN score using norms. These numerical scores of all the 16 Personality Factors were the data for the present study. Statistical techniques included descriptive statistics was used to analyze the data. As per norms the numerical score between 4.8 to 6.2 is considered to be the normal value for a personality factor. On the basic of this principle it is seen from the subjects of present study were of normal personality score in factors B, F, H, I, M, Q 1. It also seen that the subjects were above normal level in factors C, E, G, L, N, O, Q 2, Q 3, Q 4 , and lower value only for factor A.

Comparative Study of Personality Factors Between Sportspersons of Contact and Non-Contact Sports2018 •
The main purpose of the present study was to compare the personality factors between the sportspersons of the contact and non-contact sports. Big five personality inventory was employed among the sportsperson selecting randomly from colleges of Ganderbal Kashmir region. The size of sample under study was 70, in which 26 were from contact sports (football, hockey, kabaddi, basketball, handball and rugby) and 44 were from non-contact sports (cricket, volleyball, badminton, baseball, ball badminton and shooting ball). The groups were compared on different factors of personality i.e, extroversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism and openness.
