Youth are the salt of nation. Nations development depends on its youthful productive human resource. Healthy youthfulness emerges from all round development of the children. Physical exercises, sports and yoga play the vital role in ensuring sound health of the children. Sports and yoga help the children physically, psychologically and intellectually. Thus calls for a scientific study development of the children in order to have healthy youth to the nation. Sample: A sample of 200 Sports person and non-sports person were selected for the study. The subjects age ranged from 19 to 25 years. Method: The subjects were administered the standardized questionnaires for collecting the relevant data.

Analysis of the Effect of Recreational Sports Development on Health and Participation of Students in Sports Activities2021 •
Background and Objective: Research on how to participate in recreational sports and the factors influencing the choice of these sports are too meager in health areas. Therefore, the aim of this study was to analyze the effect of recreational sports development on health and Participation of students in sports activities. Material and Methods: The present study is descriptive-correlative in terms nature, and is applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population of the study consisted of all university students in Bushehr city, from whom the study sample was picked based on stratified random selection (N=384). To collect data, a researcher-made questionnaire was used and the validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by twelve experts. Also, its reliability was calculated using Cronbach's alpha (r=0.91) and composite reliability. In order to analyze the data and examine the fit of the model, structural equation modeling was implemented using PLS3 and SPSS24 software (p≤0.05). The results of path analysis revealed that the development of recreational sports has a direct and positive correlation with physical health. Also, the effect of recreational sports development on students' participation in sport was significant. Results: The results of factor analysis showed that physical health, mental health, and physical fitness had a significant role in explaining the physical health variable. Also, social aspects, athletic interest and pleasure, athletic performance and athletic skill acquisition had a determining role in the sport participation variable. Conclusion: According to the findings, it can be deduced that in the attention to and research on sport participation in health area, simply reliance on individual characteristics results in Halo error (based on behavioral theories), and to avoid it, it's better to notice the effects of other variables, such as the athletic interest and pleasure, athletic performance, and athletic skill-acquisition.

This study was done with the aim of searching whether the sport had an effect on education or not. The search involves 179 students studying at Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University in 2011-2012 education year. Graded quintet Likert type questionnaire was used as a measuring means. In the first part of the questionnaire demographic features and in the second part a questionnaire was used which was developed by Aksoy and adapted by a researcher. SPSS 16.0 programme was used to measure all tests. Alpha coefficient was checked and found as %85 for reliability. Frequency analysis, t-test analysis were used for measuring students’ answers given and cross-tabulation was done for some questions. Effect of school and family factor on athletes studying at high school in SakaryaSports have great importance on establishing either good interpersonal or intersocietal relations on acquiring good habits for the adults who will assume responsibility in the future. Making negative contributions or not making any contributions to sports development identify the limits of the success status of the students in the future. The important institutions to provide sport success are family and school. It is identified that the level of education and income and being athletes in the family is effective to do sport and especially the interest of the family effects the attitude of the kid on sport. Also, the lack of sport equipment and facilities suspend students from sport and school exhibiting positive attitude increased the interest of the student. The subjects of this study are 9th, 10th and 11th grade students of Sport High School of Sakarya. The questionnaire used as the data collection in this study consists of 19 questions.

We all know that psychological well-being is not possible without physical well-being, both aspects are interrelated. Recreational sport activity is crucial to health, fitness and well-being. It builds strength, maintains mobility, and challenges body and mind. Thus, the present study was designed to examine the role of recreational sport activities on the psychological well-being of children. The study was carried out with 200 children (100 government and 100 private schools) by using psychological well-being scale and an intervention program. With respect to assess the role of recreational sport activity on the psychological well-being, the sample was divided into two groups (control and experimental). Intervention program was designed to the experimental groups only. Result indicated that recreational sport activity has a facilitating role in promoting psychological well-being of children in both private and government schools.

Sports Participation and Well-being of Adolescents: Are They RelatedBackground: Participation in sports helps an individual to achieve recommended levels of daily moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA). MVPA plays a vital role in bringing about positive psychological and physiological changes contributing to both physical and emotional well-being. Aims: There is a scarcity of data to understand the role of regular participation in sports in promoting the overall physical activity in Indian adolescents. Our objective was to evaluate the sports participation as a means of enhancing physical and psychological health of children and youth by helping them to achieve daily physical activity requirements. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on a sample of 509 [n=259, athletic adolescents (AA) and n=250, non-athletic adolescents (NAA)]. Ryff's Psychological well-being questionnaire was used to assess their mental well-being state. Physical well-being VO 2 max and anthropometric parameters were assessed. Data were analysed using IBM SPSS version 20. Results: In the findings of the study, majority of NAA were found to be practicing low physical activity levels while in contrast, majority of AA were able to achieve moderate to vigorous levels of physical activity. AA were found with significantly better scores for personal growth, positive relations with others, purpose in life, self-acceptance and total psychological well-being. Prevalence of overweight adolescents was higher in NAA than AA, while VO 2 max of AA was higher than NAA. Conclusion: MVPA is favourably associated with overall well-being of adolescents. Sports participation has a positive impact on both physical and mental health and should be encouraged since childhood years.

Psychological characteristics of athletes in regional training centerHigh achievment in sports requires behavior with certain qualities. Likewise, with successful athletes, they have superior qualities not only in terms of physical but also mentality. This study aims at examining psychological characteristic because it’s one of the important factors possessed by athletes, and can influence them in. The sample used in this study are 198 East Java athletes who participates in the training center from 21 sports. The instrument used for psychological characteristics in this study is the SKPA (Scale of Psychological Characteristics for Athletes) with a factor loading value > 0.5, so that each item is valid in measuring it’s dimensions, and it’s known that the conbrach’s alpha value for each dimension is 0.7. In this study, the effect of regular exercise on 12-14 year-old children's state and trait anxiety levels was investigated. The research groups were selected 500 children from 15 school in Kütahya. 212 sportsmen, 288 non-sportsmen children were participated in our study. In this research, to collect information of the candidates and to determine personal information form and anxiety level, The Anxiety Inventory-STAI, proposed by Spielberger was used. STAI was performed before the pilot examinations throughout the school. After reviewing the obtained data with Shapiro Wilks normality test, it was analyzed by t test and One Way Anova test. Compared to children axiety levels according to gender, both state anxiety and trait axiety were lower in men than in women (p<0,05). An evaluation in accordance with the age of children, while state anxiety level was found significantly diversity, there is no significant difference in trait anxiety. In evaluation of the children according to whether athletes or not, athlete's both state axiety and trait axiety levels were find out lower (p<0,05). According to the results obtained, there are positive effects of regular exercise and being competitor athletes on anxiety.
