The aim of this assessment is to discover the significant differences of motor fitness components between batsmen and bowler. A group of thirty (N=30) male subjects aged between 18-28 years were chosen for this appraisal from Guru Nanak Dev university, Amritsar (Punjab), India. The purposive sampling technique was utilized to accomplish the objectives of the appraisal. Every one of the subjects, in the wake of having been educated about objective and protocol of the study, gave their agreement and volunteered to take an interest in this appraisal. They were further partitioned into two group of 15 each (i.e., N1=15; batsmen and N2=15; bowler). Student’s t-test for independent data was utilized to evaluate the between- group differences. The level of p≤0.05 was considered significant. Investigation of data uncovered that there were insignificant differences of speed (p = 0.20), strength (p = 0.096) agility (p = 0.06) and Cardiovascular Endurance (p = 0.21) amongst Batsmen and Bowler, the calculated value of t for all the variables i.e., speed (t=1.30), strength (1.72), agility (1.94) and Cardiovascular Endurance (1.41 is smaller than the tabulated value of t (=2.048) for 28 degree of freedom. In this way, it might be presumed that the group difference between Batsmen and Bowler with respect to speed, strength, agility and endurance observed to be statistically insignificant. Whereas significant differences of static Balance (p = 0.019) between Batsmen and Bowler, since the calculated value of t for static Balance (t=2.50) is higher than the tabulated value of t (=2.048) for 28 degree of freedom. In this manner it might be inferred that the group difference between Batsmen and Bowler in regards to speed, strength, agility and Cardiovascular Endurance observed to be statistically insignificant. Whereas significant differences of static Balance found.

A Comparative Analysis of Motor Fitness Components among Bogura and Khulna District Women Cricket Players2022 •
The current study aims to assess the motor fitness parameters among female cricket players from the Bogura and Khulna districts of Bangladesh. Twenty cricket players from each of the two separate Bangladeshi cities were chosen at random to assess the critical research. The selected subjects (N=40) were between the ages of 16 and 21. The study's criteria variables were leg explosive strength and agility. For this study, the sergeant jump test and shuttle run were utilized to measure the leg's explosive strength and agility. A statistical method called the independent "t" test was employed for the current research. The study's findings demonstrated that the Bogura students' leg explosive strength was superior to that of the Khulna students (p ≤0.05). However, there was no difference in agility between the two statistically significant groups (p ≥ 0.05).
The purpose of the study was to find out relationship between selected anthropometric variables (height, weight, arm length, upper leg girth and lower leg girth) with the fast bowling performance. For the purpose of the present study total Ten (10) right arm fast bowlers were selected in the terms of a purposive sample. The age was ranged between 18 to 28 years. The data on all the anthropometric measurement were collected by using standard procedure as available in literature and scores for selected anthropometric variables were obtained by using the standard test/equipment namely, measuring tape, and electronic weighing machine. Fast bowling performance was considered as dependent variables. Bowling performance was measured on the basis of subjective judgments of the experts on the basis of Run-up, Loading, Coiling and Uncoiling, Pace and Bounce of the ball, Accuracy of the ball, Difficulty in playing the ball by the batsman. Total fifty marks given by each expert and average scores of all three experts was considered as performance of fast bowling. For the purpose of the present study to know the nature of the data descriptive statistics i.e. mean, standard deviation were calculated. To know the relationship of selected anthropometric variables and fast bowling performance Pearson product-moment correlations were calculated. All the statistics were calculated with the help of SPSS 16.0 version software. On the basis of results of the study it may be conclude that Significant relationship was found between fast bowling performance with weight (r =.659, p < .05), arm length (r =.565, p < .05), upper leg girth (r =.762, p < .05), lower leg girth (r =.560, < .05). According to the result of the study it may be conclude that insignificant relationship was found between fast bowling performance and height (r =.251, p>.05).

Abstract Purpose: Purpose of the study was to find out the relationship between selected Anthropometric variables and velocity of the ball of pace bowlers in Cricket. Relationship was calculated by using Product Moment Method of Co-relation. Result of the study showed that the calculated value of “r” for the velocity of the ball and anthropometric variables: height, arm length was found to be significant at 0.05 level of confidence and no significance relationship of velocity of the ball with the body weight and arm girth. Methods: For the present study total 15 pace bowlers from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya Bilaspur, (C.G.), were selected as subjects. Anthropometric variables selected by the researcher were: height, weight, arm length and arm girth. Statistical Technique: For determining the significant relationships of height, weight, arm length, arm girth with the velocity of the ball of pace bowlers in cricket, descriptive statistics and the Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation was used for the analysis of data with the help of SPSS (16.0 version) software and the level of significance was set at 0.05. Findings: Significant relationship found between velocity of the ball with height(r=.645*, p < .05), arm length(r=.719*, p<.05) and no significant relationship of velocity of ball with the weight(r =-.266, p >.05), arm girth(r =.454, p> .05). Conclusions: The results indicate there is significance relationship between anthropometrics variables (height, arm length) with the velocity of the ball of the pace bowlers in Cricket and no significance relationship in body weight and arm girth with the velocity of ball.
The game of cricket requires considerable amount of physical fitness and mastery of skills. A key element of fast bowling is ball-release speed or peak bowling speed (V-peak). Ball-release speed in fast bowlers is influenced by various anthropometric factors. Certain anthropometric measurements are advantageous for a good performance in fast bowling in cricket like longer the arm length more the leverage which helps the bowler to bowl fast. In this study, the researcher has tried to find out the predictive anthropometric variables which contribute towards fast bowling in cricket. To achieve the purpose of the study, 45 male fast bowlers of inter-collegiate cricket teams in various colleges affiliated to University of Lucknow, Lucknow were randomly selected as subjects. 18 anthropometric variables namely: the height, weight, foreleg length, thigh length, leg length, upper arm length, forearm length, ponderal index, crural ratio, arm length, hand length, upper arm girth, forearm girth...
