The research is aimed to investigate the relationship between humanistic and task-oriented leadership style with a five-thinking executive, legislative, judicial, liberal and conservative, with a success rate of successful coaches in Khuzestan province. Scale and Scale thinking style of leadership were used. After verifying the content validity of questionnaires by physical education teachers and management, validation questionnaires using Kronbach's alpha coefficient, 0.73 and 0.657 calculated was used. After studying the questionnaires filled by 23 coaches, it was concluded that there exists no significant relation between the task oriented leadership style and subscales of thinking styles of executive, legal, judicial, free and conservative. And that in terms of the relation between humanistic leadership style and subscales of thinking styles of legal, judicial and free and conservative; a significant relation exists only between the leadership style of humanistic and executive thinking style. Thus, due to the significant relationship between these two styles is suggested that coaches have two-way relationship with athletes and that they should express their goals to athletes in a clear and appropriate way. They should also have appropriate behaviors for realizing these goals through their team. In this regard, they will be able to achieve highest levels of success for themselves and their teams.

The Leadership Orientations of the Students Receiving Sports Education in Turkey2018 •
This research has been planned to identify the factors related to the assessment of “The Leadership Orientations” of the students receiving sports education (physical education and sports teacher, sports management, recreation, trainer education departments) in the universities in Turkey. This descriptive study has a population consisting of the students receiving sports education in the universities in Turkey and a sample of totally 1032 students (N: 1032) (who attend physical education and sports teacher, sports management, recreation, trainer education departments). The data has been collected using The Student Information Form and the Leadership Orientation Survey. According to the means of sub-scales of “Leadership Orientations by Sexes” obtained by the students receiving sports education, a significant difference has been identified between the frames of “Transformational Leadership” and “Charismatic Leadership”. This difference can be explained by the fact that male students consider themselves more competent compared to the female students in these two sub-scales. Consequently, when the mean points of the sub-scales of the Leadership Orientation Survey [Self] obtained by the students receiving sports education in Turkey are compared, it has been observed that the direction and strength of relation between sex, class, department and school is “positive” and “moderate” and also those students have “people-oriented leadership” characteristics among the sub-scales of the leadership orientation frames. Keywords: leadership, sports education, sports management
This research was conducted to determine the leadership qualities of the president and administrators of Turkish Football Coaches Association (TUFAD) and examine the leadership behaviours in terms of some variables. For this reason, Leadership for Spot Scale (LSS) was applied to 55 administrators who voluntarily participated in this research as presidents, vice presidents and board members in Turkish football coaches associations [1]. A scale with 5 subscales and 40 items was applied to the administrators and they were asked to rate the most suitable type of behaviour described in the items of the scale. SPSS 19 statistical pack was used for the data analysis. Independent groups t test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used for parametric data, and for non-parametric data the research used Kruskal Wallis H test. The differences between the groups were identified by Scheffe, LSD and Mann Whitney U test. Data from research group indicated that the leadership styles didn't change based on age, yet there was a statistically significant difference between the types of leadership regarding the variable of educational background p<0.05. For marital status, democratic leadership behaviours were higher among the married group whilst the autocratic leadership behaviour was greater in single group. It was found that there was a statistically significant difference between the groups according to the variable of self-description in social life p<0.05. Accordingly, it was explored that participants of the group who described themselves social and extrovert had a tendency to exhibit less autocratic behaviours. Therefore, there are important missions and responsibilities taken on by TUFAD administrators, who are influential in Turkish football. Success mostly results from qualities and behaviours of the administrators when fulfilling these important tasks and responsibilities. Appropriateness of leadership behaviours will be determinant in the success of sports institutions and organizations.
